Canadian soprano Natascia Dell’erba is a recent graduate of the University of British Colombia (M.Mus). Natascia started her studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic before furthering her education at UBC with the UBC Opera Ensemble. Her accomplishments include placing first in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition, as well as runner-up in the Kiwanis Festival provincial level competition.
Natascia had her first performances in Europe very early in her career, appearing as Micaela in Carmen (2013), and as Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata (2015) with the Usti nad Labem Opera House in the Czech Republic. Mrs. Dell’erba has appeared as a soloist at Bard on the Beach with UBC Opera Ensemble, performing excerpts from Faust, Carmen,(2012) La Traviata (2013), Giulio Cesare, Falstaff, and I Capuletti e Montecchi. (2014). She has also performed as a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, UBC Orchestra, and the UBC choirs. Natascia’s operatic appearances include Madame Lidoine (Dialogues des Carmélites, UBC Opera, 2013), Micaela (Carmen, UBC Opera, 2013), Elena (Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze, UBC Opera, 2014), Countess (Le nozze di Figaro, UBC Opera, 2015), Violetta (La Traviata, UBC Opera, 2015), Manon (Manon, UBC Opera, 2015), and Tatyana (Eugene Onegin, UBC Opera, 2017).
