Soprano soloist Ali Powell has been a member of the St. Helen’s community since before she can remember. Growing up, she was highly involved in her school’s choirs and plays, always wanting to find a way to get onto a stage. Throughout high school, she trained at West Side Dance Centre in their Intensive Dance program. She is currently studying in the Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College in Ontario. She would like to thank everyone at St. Helen’s for fostering such a warm environment in which she was able to pursue what she loves.
We've heard so much incredible singing from Alison Powell in recent years. It's a delight to have her with us again this Christmas! If you haven't had a chance to hear her, give a listen to last spring's "Magnificat: Song of Mary" composed for her voice by our Rector, The Rev. Scott Gould.
Come hear Alison sing at our Family Christmas Carol Singalong Concert on Friday Decemberr 21st and at Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.
