A Very Happy Mother's Day

This past Sunday we celebrated all of the mothers in our community. We had Bea, Gabrielle and Phin greeting at the door, giving out bulletins and occasionally saying "Good Morning, Happy Mother's Day!". They were excited at the prospects of Jesus coming to the door, and argued over who would get to give him the bulletin. 

At the end of the service, all of the kids from Godly Play gathered at the back of the church and handed out red, white and pink carnations to the mothers, while Kevin Zakresky played Delibres' "Flower Duet" from Lakme. 

Overall, a fun, smile-filled Sunday.
